Fareham Shopping and Nightlife

The beauty of shopping in the Fareham arcade is that it is all under one roof so it does not matter if it is cold, raining or sunny. The arcade is fully air conditioned and there are plenty of cafes and restaurants to choose from for that relaxing break. You have a choice of major shops like M& S, Boots, BHS, Dixon s and many more. As for car parking, you have lots of choice in the close vicinity. If you are prepared to walk many are free for a long period of time. If you have problems in walking there is Shop mobility located in Osborn Road multi storey car park, where manual wheelchairs, electric wheelchairs and scooters can be hired for your shopping visit.

If the weather is nice, why not walk along West Street where you will find many unusual shops for gifts etc. There are many places of interest for shopping in the borough of Fareham. For instance, if you like gardening, why not visit Titchfield where there are many garden centres. One of my favourites is The Abbey Garden Centre in Titchfield. There is so much to choice, not only in plants but also fish. They have a fantastic range of fish tanks, ponds etc.

Portchester is also a great place to visit for shopping. It has plenty of shops and cafes, also a nice pub for a quite drink after a busy day shopping. Whilst you are there, why not visit the Portchester Castle and just relax in the castle grounds.

I could go on and on about the shopping but you need to visit Fareham yourself to see exactly what they have to offer. Trust me, once you have visited Fareham, you will come back time and time again.

Fareham also has a lot to offer for its night life. There are many restaurants in and around the Fareham centre. They have some great Indian and Chinese restaurants for take away or eating in. If you fancy a really good Indian buffet, why not try Cafe Tusk, where you can up to a choice of 60 mouth watering dishes. There is also a very wide choice of English, French, Italian restaurants, to name just a few.

Fareham has an excellent cinema if you fancy watching a film. It boasts 5 screens with tiered seating so you can guarantee and excellent view. You can easily find the cinema in the Market Quay complex in Fareham town centre.

Why not go to watch a live show at the Ferneham Hall. These are professional acts and they are well worth seeing. Ferneham Hall can be found at the top of the Shopping Arcade in Osborn Road. For forthcoming events you can visit their website.

As you can see, there is so much to do in the borough of Fareham, whether it is shopping or having a good night out so why not come and visit, you are guaranteed to have a wonderful time.
